DB ESG is a specialist engineering consultancy focused on sustainable rail and infrastructure. Combining technical expertise with ESG principles, the team helps organisations modernise operations, improve performance, and deliver safer, greener journeys.
DB ESG wanted to create a new office environment as the main base for the digital technology and services team.
We worked closely with DB ESG to translate their brief into a practical, people-focused layout. The new hub was planned around a dedicated 3D print room with viewing windows, so the technology is always visible. We then created a flexible neighbourhood of bookable workstations, a meeting room, and acoustic booths to support both focused work and collaboration.
An open breakout space was positioned away from desks to encourage people to step away, socialise, and eat in a more relaxed setting. Throughout, we aligned finishes, colours, and graphics with DB ESG’s brand and new ways of working, ensuring the space not only met the brief but elevated the team’s everyday experience.
The team has fully embraced the redesigned environment. The previously cold and sterile space has been transformed into a warm and energising area that fosters collaboration and invigorates the team. The new print room is now thoughtfully designed and fit for its purpose, encouraging creative productivity.
